“This story is so biased and one-sided. I am really disappointed with the journalism in the case. So far this is only one opinion and one Avenue to be explored. There are so many alternative facts and opinions that should be explored. Or instance of course Dorthy is fond of her uncle that treated her really well and her own father did not. Of course the daughter of the “victim “ is angry with the “other woman”. Vern’s daughter stopped talking to him when he left her mother, and thus she was taken out of his will. Makes sense. No one in this cases so far has put any blame on Vern himself. HE left his wife for another woman, he didn’t have to do that, that is a choice. He was by many accounts an abusive drunk. There are things with Vern that have not even been looked at.
As for the special treatment that was given to the “killer”, that sounds on par to me. She was a police officers wife, police take care of there own. We all know that, so the fact the she has the number of another sheriff is not a case breaking fact, nor the fact that she was allowed to be in his office. Again, she was a police officers wife, she would not have been treated the same as you or I would be.
In the end, we never know what goes on behind closed doors. There should be more impartial journalism happening here that sadly is not. I’m sad because there could have been a good story here had it been done properly.”
