Where’d the money go?
I lived in San Diego at the time of Rebecca’s death. Homicide seemed extremely likely to me at the time. Everything about the story and investigation and its findings seemed fishy, including the fact that the house was remodeled to put on the market just days after Rebecca’s death. All evidence was eliminated. I lived in El Cajon, which is a working class and immigrant community east of downtown SD. A couple of years after this case, the El Cajon Police Dept built a massive state of the art office. Could that have been where the money that paid off the police went? I’m glad Gore is on board to investigate again. I think he was at the police dept at the time of the death, tho, so the new findings might not be any different. Is it possible to find out where all that money came from that paid for the building of the new police department?
