As we closed out the week of trade on Friday, we ended up with a mixed bag after starting the day very strong. Corn ended up being one of the big winners on the day as the soy complex finished well off session highs. We got a very interesting jobs report on Friday and we saw a livestock trade that was mixed to higher to close out the week. Wheat markets were higher amid a poor winter wheat crop rating while corn and soybeans were a mixed bag on Tuesday. Crude oil saw a drop around 4% on Monday as traders took war premium out of that market. That drop seemed to weigh on grains and oilseeds to start the week, among other factors, as soybeans, soy products, wheat and corn were all in the red.
