Great podcast for personal finances and other life lessons
Mark Troutman got his CFP later in life but he is not a practicing financial planner, taking on clients. He seems to have gotten this certification (which isn’t easy) as reflection of his passion for personal finance and a love of learning. He has a very good, conversational style and approach to personal finance. His back story to his journey to financial independence and its derivative benefits is very compelling. I have heard Mark speak in other forums and I am very much looking forward to his contributions in this podcast medium.

I’m really enjoying Mark’s new podcast. I have always liked listening to him on other podcasts being a guest or a host. Mark is a great story teller and interviewer. He knows what to ask because he’s been there. Congratulations on a great show Mark!

Happy to see Mark has his own show! He’s always been one of my favorite regular guests on other shows. I love his demeanor and he just comes off as a genuinely good person that wants to teach others. Looking forward to more episodes!

From high school to late starters, Mark is THE personal finance educator. His experience, life’s ups and downs and Financial Independence wisdom is some of the best there is. This podcast must listen for everyone!
