Description
In this episode, we explore the extraordinary journey of Lyn French, a remarkably resilient woman hailing from Gilberton Station in North Queensland. Lyn triumphed over a challenging childhood marked by experiences of abuse, navigating through a lack of formal education and gender-related obstacles in her early career. Fueled by determination and resourcefulness, Lyn independently acquired the skills to operate heavy machinery, eventually landing a position test driving bulldozers for prominent companies across Australia. Despite initially distancing herself from relationships and motherhood, Lynch's life took an unexpected turn when she encountered a compassionate man who altered the trajectory of her path. Remarkably, even with the passage of time, Lyn continues to expand her horizons. She has become a marriage celebrant and, most recently, added a helicopter pilot license to her already impressive resume. Lyn is a passionate advocate for the agricultural industry, aiming to help people better understand its intricacies and recognize the extraordinary opportunities it holds.
