Corissa reveals that on the 6th of October 2021, she received the devastating diagnosis of stage 4 triple negative breast cancer with metastases to the lymph, lung, and chest wall. She was informed that it was incurable, and after a whirlwind of consultations with doctors and nurses, Corissa was accepted onto a trial in Brisbane.  The trial required her presence every week, and every six weeks, she had to stay for the entire week. Despite being given about a year to live, Corissa's journey unfolds as she faces the unimaginable with courage and strength.
