Howdy! It’s been over a month since we’ve last recorded a podcast and that feels like FOREVER! We’re pumped to be back with you guys today chatting about all that’s been going on with us over the last month and what we’ve been up to. We talk a while about Jackie’s 2020 futurity horse who competed in her first futurity of the year this past weekend in Edna, TX. This episode of the podcast is with NFR qualifying barrel racer, Emily Miller. This Prairie Circuit cowgirl punched her ticket in 2019 with earnings up over $98k. This included being the WPRA’s top earner over the 4th of July run, better known as Cowboy Christmas. This episode of the podcast was with professional barrel racer, Shali Lord. Shali qualified for the NFR in 2005 on one of the great horses in barrel racing, Slider. Now, 14 years and 2 children later, this Colorado based cowgirl is sitting in the top 10 in the world with over $44k won so far this year in just 13 rodeos. She’s positioned herself and her main mount, the amazing stallion Freckles Ta Fame aka Can Man, for a great summer and another shot at trip to the Thomas and Mack in December.
