Best Fiction Podcast in YEARS
I cant believe MarsCorp isnt better known. It is a hilarious and well written comedy-drama set in a future martian colony. Production quality is amazing and the actors performances are top notch. I stumbled onto this after listening to Definitely Humans first project, The Bunker. Like their earlier creation, MarsCorp has the same dark sense of humor, but adds a much richer and more fleshed out story to the mix. Set over the course of 1 year, the first season of MarsCorp follows intrepid supervisor E.L. Hob as she is sent to manage the first ever human colony on Mars. What follows is an engaging story of monsters and conspiracies as Hob attempts to stop MarsCorp from collapsing under it's own incompetence. While most of it follows a strictly episodic format, there are hints of a larger story that become more concrete as time goes on. What is the manager Martin Mann really up to? And what about the rumors of a dark conspiracy in the depths of the resources department? With the help of her assistant Jim, Hob is the only one who can get MarsCorp back on track. Like I said, this will be the best audio drama you listen to this year. Give it a shot!

MarsCorp is creative with its use of background and segue sounds to paint clear and rich pictures of the scenes. The characters are also well...Read full review »

Good productions values. Seems to be trying for a 'Red Drawf' type of feel - which is the sort of atmosphere. Not nearly as clever, I'm afraid. I've only listened to episodes 1 and 2 - will be plowing on. It is funny, but sometimes a bit too silly.Read full review »
