Based on the popular UK and Australian format. Contestants compete each week via team-based and individual cooking challenges until only one remains. MasterChef is a U.S. competitive cooking reality show, open to amateur and home chefs. Produced by Shine America and One Potato Two Potato. Twenty-four more young cooks step up to the plate in the fourth season of the junior edition of "MasterChef." Each week, the contestants flex their skills as they tackle challenges that often push them out of their culinary comfort zones. Challenge winners go on to receive advantages in elimination rounds, where the cooks try to impress the judges -- restaurateurs Gordon Ramsay, Graham Elliot and Christina Tosi -- by preparing the best dish.
