A podcast worthy of its subject
My So-Called Life is so intelligent, there is so much nuance and it hits you so personally - and this podcast fills you up with all of that in just the right way. As someone who podcasts about smart television, I can attest to the challenge of being thorough, not leaving anything on the table. Matt Baume solves this by having multiple conversations about the same episode within one podcast. Does it get boring? It does not. Redundant? It does not. Is it one of those two-hour podcasts where you wish the hosts would stop wasting your time talking about nothing and cracking each other up? It is not! It is an opportunity to revisit (or visit for the first time) the experience of being moved by this show. Didn’t know we needed this podcast, but we did. It’s wonderful.

For everyone who watched MSCL and saw themselves in the characters as we navigated the...Read full review »
