Thoroughly Enjoyable!
Though a bit hard to get used to at first, this story captivated me like no other, making me finish it in under a day. There is music throughout the whole story, which takes some getting used to, as I mentioned, but pretty soon, it BECOMES the story; especially the little bit of rock music later on. It's a great book for all ages. No swearing or gore, and plenty of higher philosophies for us older "kids". The book reminded me of a better Artemis Fowl-Lemony Snicket mash up, with a bit of the "Gone" Series mixed in, while still being it's own, unique tale. The best parts are the chapters with Mr. E. (hehe, mystery!) What a great rendition of a creation myth. I loved it! On to book two.

Seriously, drop the background music and...Read full review »
