“First let me start by saying that while the Maximized Minimalist podcast is mostly geared toward mothers, providing useful advice to help mothers reclaim their sanity in a cluttered home by advising them how decluttering can save them precious time with their families. I find the podcast to be useful to any listener who wants to be a better version of themselves. I am not a mother but I am around the same age as Katy (32) and first found her podcast by searching for podcasts discussing capsule wardrobes. After listening to the episode, I quickly found myself listening to more and more of the show. In listening I learned that Katy’s journey began with a tragedy that Katy openly shares about with her listeners, and that this tragedy sparked her into action. On her podcast Katy shares the lessons she had to learn in the wake of this tragedy so that we can avoid reliving the hardships she endured. Katy is very likable and relatable host with a great attitude and positive energy. Whether the episode specifically deals with a motherhood issue or covers a broader issue that many women face, I find I am able to fully enjoy them all and that I learn something from each episode. Regardless of the targeted audience, Katy’s advice is universal to anyone seeking to simplify their lives and declutter their physical spaces. Additionally, the podcast also covers a range of other topics that all listeners can gain insight from, often by inviting a guest with insight on specific topics. Katy conducts very interesting interviews with these individuals who share their unique experiences perspectives and advice. I love hearing these episodes and feel an authenticity from each of her guests—they seem to share their information with listeners in an earnest way that I believe makes them more credible and that they truly want to help listeners, not just financially benefit from their course— which is a true rarity these days. Thanks Katy for being a source of positivity in this crazy world we live in!”
