“I found this podcast by pure luck when scrolling, and like a book cover judged that it probably wouldn’t be for me (likely too strict, not applicable to real life, etc) and so I skeptically tuned into one episode- sure that it would be my first and last.
Four hours later I’m obsessed and on a listening binge. I’ve also already declutter my closet and bottom dresser drawers (because I’ve put that off for three years). I’m also finally at peace with the decluttering process, mainly aiming to meet the need for calm in the storm of new/young motherhood.
My kids are 3 and 5 months, and the consistent theme of finding peace to the anxiety really resonated with me. I’ve experience PPA since my first sons birth, and believe that maximizing minimalism could be the answer to some of those woes.
Thank you for making minimalism approachable, and so eloquently tying mental health to physical surroundings. I think this has been sorely missed for a long long time.”
