“The podcast is a great topic that many may find controversial, in a developing world where more and more people are choosing not to have kids. The podcast is undoubtedly entertaining it is at times funny as well as informative but by no means a panacea for making the decision on whether to have children.
To start the format, it starts at conception which is fine but doesn’t really address the various reasons as to why your listeners today are choosing not to have kids. It would be better to have started with other guest who choose not to have kids to build a balanced argument. To understand other people’s reasoning not just your own.
Next, the guests. Although charismatic and entertaining which I appreciate is required to make a successful podcast it does distance the issue from average couple as invariably they are not famous or in the media so your demographic is bias and maybe not as balanced as it could be I.e factors like culture, social economic background, living location, careers, relationship progress could have different impacts to decision making etc
However, to date I have only listened up to the Q&A stage so there maybe more to come to cover the points above but I would like to commend Kate and Martin on their ongoing struggle especially broadcasting to the public! As much as this podcast is about babies i think the actual focus is on the Kate and Martin’s relationship and how they work through this issue together whatever the outcome it is an example to listeners about how to have honest and open dialogue about the issue.”
