Coming at the end of an intensely creative period, The Beatles’ Abbey Road features some of the most adventurous compositions in the quartet’s catalog. It's fitting then that the album concludes with one of the most inventive and famous medley committed to record. To close season two of “A Life in Lyrics” McCartney discusses The Beatles’ send off to recording: “Golden Slumbers”, “Carry That Weight” and “The End.” “McCartney: A Life in Lyrics” is a co-production between iHeart Media, MPL and Pushkin Industries.
