“I started listening to the Abingers Podcast roughly a year and a half ago, and it is undoubtedly one of the best podcasts out there—equal parts entertaining, informative, and relatable. Brandon, Clinton, and Emmy take what could easily be a surface-level, superficial fan conversation, and inject it with depth, care, and thought—making it easy to rediscover why we all fell in love with superheroes and comics to begin with. The storytelling. The good, meaningful messages. The heart and the fun.
Now, with the MCU, Marvel has built something extraordinary, and these three bring the already incredible movies to life. The Abingers Podcast taps into that deep love for the MCU, and takes you back to the childhood exhilaration of flipping through the latest issue of the X-Men or the Avengers with your buddy on the school bus. That wonderful feeling of having friends who understand and share your fandom. As an adult, my friends always seemed to tolerate my fandom; but I could never talk about why I was excited about an upcoming movie, or reflect on one that I’d just seen.
