“Started listening during wandavision, and it seems like the more enthusiasm you have for a show the less tangents you go on. Right now during falcon and winter soldier y’all are real erratic, and I can only attribute it to not being as into the show.
Also feels like you’re missing SUPER obvious themes and aspects of the show. How is your takeaway from Sam visiting his family in Louisiana is blip bitterness? It’s about racism?!! It’s about his sister being frustrated that Sam is oblivious to the racial dynamics in the country that exist pre blip post blip and probably during blip. and then the point is super reinforced when he realizes that the country has taken the shield and given it to a white dude. If you go a whole podcast barely mentioning race in THIS show, something is very wrong.
Stop leaning into the tangents and lean into the critical thinking. I know y’all can do it I heard it during wandavision.”
