“I’ll start with the negative to get it out of the way. Emmy brings this whole thing down. So much complaining for someone that “loves” the MCU. She seems like the kind of person that would complain about Buffalo Bill, in Silence of the Lambs, for treating women poorly. Characters are written a certain way for a reason. Example would be Happy Hogan talks down to women and something always proves him wrong. The comments he makes and his comeuppance are there to show he’s a buffoon. Many other examples, but come on.
So much apologizing from everyone for having opinions. You’re literally here to give opinions, why apologize so much?
Now that that is out of the way, so much is good about this show! Clinton is the life of the party and episodes without him are not the same. I love the tangents, the jokes, and the banter. And though I may not agree with some political interpretations, I still enjoy hearing the way these shows and movies make others think and feel.
This would be a 5 star show, but unfortunately Emmy pulls me out of it more often than not. Clinton is the sole reason I stay. Not because I don’t enjoy Brandon, but the the episodes with just him and Emmy are not good. Outside of what I’ve mentioned, they have no chemistry. Brandon’s demeanor, whether conscious or not, is so unenthusiastic when it’s just the two of them.”
