Basically, for most people scale is the most common tool to be used for weight loss or weight gain. Some people really get hung up on the numbers of the scale and let it dictate how you feel for rest of the day. I am personally guilty of this from time to time. When the number on the scale goes down I tend to be very excited and happy for that day, if the number goes up I would be depressed and quite frankly just very cranky for the day. This is totally unhealthy just FYI, most people never stop to think that is the reason why they are happy/sad because of the numbers on the scale. If you are someone who’s like me you KNOW who I am talking about! We really need to work on our mindset and shift from thinking that number on the scale means more than just a number. It does not dictate how you feel or who you are, it tells you NOTHING about you only how much your mass is when you step on the scale against gravity. We need to know that it is just that, it is certainly a useful tool but if it is something that’s causing you to be unhappy/happy you will need to use other methods to track your progress. The scale needs to be neutral its neither bad or good period.
