“I wish I could love this podcast but the audio mixing of the majority of episodes is horrible. The hosts are so quiet you need everything turned up to max, and then an ad comes on that’s deafeningly loud (go to hell booster juice ad in particular).
I’m sure as actual medical personnel you probably should have had a little more care for the hearing of your audience. It doesn’t help that there’s absolutely NO SEGUEWAY into these deafening ads, making both the narrative structure and the ads themselves extra jarring. While in the newest episodes the hosts are a little louder, the ads are still extremely loud. We’ll see how the new production thing works out in future but for now, the majority of episodes are so difficult to listen to. Maybe try again in a few months.”
