“Once got into a near screaming match with a coworker about the superiority of the chimera ant arc in the battle shonen sphere. My opponents argument was that (no spoilers) the end of a prominent character arc wasn’t all sunshine, rainbows and friendship. Extremely vindicating to hear most of my talking points parroted back at me. (Plus the much more insightful commentary by the hosts on things like the soundtrack and narrative structure of the show that I would have never picked up on myself.
