Alastair is at the top of his game and does the best he possibly can to liven up the mediocre writing. I’ll keep listening and adjust my score accordingly, should the cases get more interesting. I can only hear about H.H. Holmes and Harold Shipman so many times, although I understand that they are probably the most natural place to start a series like this. I’ll keep listening.”
