Segment 3 : Nurturing social entrepreneurship in Agriculture, Lavendar, Olive oil , Truffles and Eco-Tourism Short bio of Özlem Uzman : Özlem is the co-founder and chairperson of EGET Foundation.  She studied English literature at Boğaziçi University, which ranks among Türkiye’s top universities. After graduation, she attended the 'International Management Certificate Program' at İstanbul University.  After having several years of work experience, she decided to do an MBA (masters of business administration) in the USA, beginning her studies at Troy State University, Alabama, and then transferring to Auburn University, Alabama. Unfortunately, some family issues prevented her from finishing her degree and she returned home. She has work experiences as a manager in product management and marketing in many sectors such as it, aviation, construction, textiles. After acquiring more experience in business development, marketing, planning, management and import/export, she set up her own business in 2004, creating her own hosiery brand ‘BLISS’ and then a gift shop brand ‘EVCILIK’.  In 2013, she left her long time home in Istanbul , where had resided foe 26 years, and moved to Gökova/Muğla to set up the EGET Foundation. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/mediterranean-sustainable/message
