Description
Meg Talks with Film maker, Executive Producer and Content Creator Jameisha Prescod.
I wasted no time in exploring Jamiesha's wrap sheet working at BBC Africa and within broader media industry. Jameisha unpacked the the concept behind her unreleased documentary, staring her grandparents who share their stories and perspective of moving to the UK from the Caribbean during the Windrush era.
Imagine thousands of 18 - 30 year olds travelling together for 2 weeks straight on boats...Grandad and Nanny were definitely partying, catching whines and securing links on those boats...as confirmed by Jameisha!!!
Jameisha unpacks what it is like living with lupus in London in 2023 when inflation is high, workplace managers are wild, social expectations are high and the bills still need to be paid. Lupus, although a mystery to many of us, is a life altering condition which affects everything including navigating the dating scene.
