Weird timeline, interesting idea
I’m halfway through the story and realize they did a great job at developing the main character. As I went along, the more detestable Alex becomes. They did a great job of portraying the entitled, I know better than everyone else child of my generation. She’s unbearable. The story leaves intrigue, I want to know what happens next while trying to piece things together. Timeline is odd. The mom does a road trip in a VW bus as a late teen/early 20 something and is only 43 but listened to indie rock at that time, yet the technology is advanced enough to have neurostimulators that give happy memory dopamine shots….odd fantasy timeline.
