“I just got back into the Pokémon TCG this summer and started listening to a few different PTCG podcasts and have landed on you guys! I appreciate hearing the general Pokémon news and your discussion of it because if you like the PTCG you like mostly everything Pokémon and I don’t have a lot of people to geek out about it too or have the time to keep up with it all.
With discussing the card game I really appreciate how relatively focused you guys stay on your topic for the episode, it makes it easier to follow and process for my use of it. I also appreciate how you guys aren’t afraid to debate each other about the cards and strategies. It makes it more fun and engages my own critical thinking about it all too.
One of my only suggestions is to avoid using acronyms, or say the full name of one in each episode and then use the acronym the rest of the episode. Just in case someone new listens to that episode, so they aren’t like oh gees I’m lost and stop listening.
Keep up the great and consistent show! Oh and Jake you have a great host voice too.”
