“I was shopping around for a PTCG podcast, since Battle Styles will be coming out soon. It’s only taken one episode to know I’ll love Meta Pod (incredible name btw). From other work that Jake does, I know he works in sports media, but I don’t know if he’s ever done actual game commentary. He knows exactly how to pump energy into the podcast’s segments and knows how to utilize a fluctuating tone rather than being monotone like so many other PTCG podcasts. The mics sound fantastic, and you can hear the amount of love and care that goes into this hobby. Jake and Sean’s chemistry also make this so listen-able! Can’t wait to hear more as Battle Styles starts rolling out.”
