“Hey guys, just so you know, I come from a background in Magic. I’ve played Magic for a long time, participated in tournaments, and hit Mythic multiple times on Arena. Due to the cost to stay competitive, I found my way to Pokémon, and have been playing since Unified Minds.
That being said, I listened to ALL of the Magic podcasts when I was a regular tourney player. Arena Decklists was the one that I loved most. My goal was to find that ONE pod on the Pokémon side that I would love to listen to every week. Meta Pod is that pod! These guys get the meta, they understand the demand for collecting, and they are so pleasing to listen to. The Meta Pod gives some life to my boring work week, and helps me stay engaged with all the latest PTCG news.
My only constructive critique would be to get some high quality guests on the pod. The only other cast I listen to is Lake of Rage, and it’s mainly due to the guests….if you guys had guests, I would never have to listen to another cast again! 😂
