this podcast is good folks
entertaining dive into the cultural and political detritus of the late 90s and early-mid 2000s. I enjoy the mix of political discussion, thoughtful film analysis, and many layers of lacquered irony that helps process our current political moment. as a canadian I also appreciate the sprinkling of canadian politics and culture discussion that rises above the tepid mainstream canadian media discourse.

Luke and Will certainly have the strongest stomachs in the world of left wing podcasting. Week after week, they put themselves through some of the worst political media ever created and always manage to make it fun to listen to.

Great podcast reexamining the cringeworthiness of Bush era liberalism. There's something to be gained from looking at this political trajectory in the current moment. Recommended for people who like commentary from Jacobin and Current Affairs.Read full review »

Blame Canada. Funny, insightful discussion of politics in films, docos and TV. US-centric and all the better for it.
