Pernell Whitaker was absolutely a celebrity who appreciated his fans and was very approachable. Also as someone who was once involved in and remains a fan of professional wrestling, I would like to say thank you for the respect you showed to the guys & gals of the business. Also thank you for refraining from saying anything derogatory, although I entirely agree that it is live entertainment and not a live “sport”.
