The rarest of radio/podcast shows
What's special about the TLLS is that is it varied, intelligent and usually very interesting. Leonard talk to listeners assuming that their knowledge is equal to his. In other words (and this is the rare part) he does not insult listeners' intelligence! Shows this good are often marred by the out-sized ego of the host. Fortunately, this is usually not a problem in Leonard's case.

Lopate’s show is the podcast I’ve been listening to the longest (almost 10 years) and I never miss it. Each week it is part of my regular listening roster. Great voice, thoughtful questions, interesting guests.

Seriously, I can’t stand this dimwit who seems to be only in her element when talking about food. She should go back to mtv or the food network. This is where she belongs. Bring back Jonathan Capehart. And please save NPR.
