“I am retired military living in Fort Hood Family Housing, and I have done my best to remain actively informed on the search for SPC Guillén ever since I first knew she was missing. This podcast released quite a few details that I was unaware of, but also that I have seen in additional venues often enough that I know not to question.
I truly do wish that there was an “easy button” to remind leadership that admitting failure & assuming accountability for problems does not make leaders weak and also that the respect of subordinates is far more valuable than a positive OER / NCOER.
It hurts my heart that such leadership is either the exception to the rule, or a punchline to a bad barracks joke...”
