“I was an eager acolyte. I bought “We Should All Be Millionaires” and read it avidly. And in February 2023, I signed up for the 2024 ROI Summit and shelled out $2K .
In May I heard that my brother, who has Motor Neuron Disease and lives alone in the UK, had worsened considerably. I was told I should be ready to travel to the UK at a moment’s notice if his condition continued to deteriorate. At that time, he was given 6 months to live.
I contacted Hello 7 and explained the situation. I received the email: “We’re so sorry but we don’t give refunds.” I kept writing, asking for a humane response and continued to receive variations on the same email. I received one email that said, “We don’t offer refunds because we want women to take their businesses seriously.” Seriously? I would have been happy if they’d made a partial refund. I KNOW they say they don’t offer refunds but surely there have to be exceptions? I was also not allowed to sell my ticket.
I’m appalled by this organization and by Rachel Rodgers’ business model, especially since they’re meant to be uplifting women of color.
For anyone out there considering Hello 7 and Rachel Rodgers — take a closer look.”
