“This is truly the best gifted podcast ever, coming from an twice-exceptional student. I’ve always had an intense interest in the brain. Like in year 2, we presented what we wanted to be when we grow up. I said “I’m not sure what particular occupation, but I want to go into the practice of cognitive developmental studies and potentially twice-exceptional education” i was 7— I, myself, am a twice exceptional student and face day-to-day social and expectational struggles, this podcast makes me fell less alone in my struggles and i feel as if i’m safe when i listen to it. i’ve been able to nurture my intense interest with learning all this new information about gifted and twice exceptionality! I’ve also increased my vocabulary a bit. I use ‘predominantly’ a little bit more, now that i hear the word more often. And my terminology in terms of the brain and giftedness has become astronomically more accurate! Emily, the host, is interesting and asks the right questions. I love to listen to her synopsis at the end of each episode and I did her as my inspiration for an assignment. I’m also THOROUGHLY dreading the ending of this podcast. I know all good things must come to an end and I really hope it will end when I forget about it 😂 (not to offend whomever this may concern) I recommend Mind Matters for everyone, from little kids like me to professionals. Please make more episodes! (There are a few loose capitals as I don’t have auto caps on and putting them in manually makes for boredom.)”
