“I listen to every prospect podcast and I think this one is notable because….
A) It might be still be around in 6 months
B) It has a regular schedule
C) You get to hear from the players themselves to get a feel for who they are, rather than just their scouting grades and stats.
On a personal note, I think it suffers from the same thing most do, focusing mostly on the top 20 guys exclusively. They drift more than most, but I don’t really need another weekly hot take on Yoan Moncada.
I’ll never forget on the late great “Up and In” when Kevin Goldstein started raving about a tiny 2B in Low A whom he thought everybody was overlooking because he was short and didn’t have a big Int’l bonus or a top round draft number….Jose Altuve.”
