“This has quickly become my very favorite podcast! CK, it must be noted right off the bat, is just such a nice guy that he could probably host a podcast on ANY topic and it would be enjoyable. But “Mirths and Monsters” is the perfect intersection for him! Each podcast is a bite-size exploration of a different amazing creature that will bring the listener a smile or a laugh and take you back to how it felt when you were a child and the world was brim-full of wonder and magic. CK travels to meet cryptids with his crew of lovable fur-family members, and their interviews with the magical creatures are always delightfully empathetic — even the scariest beastie can be understood with a little conversation.
