Description
Clare Sands is a fearless Irish fiddler and bilingual singer who plays 10+ instruments and loves open-water swimming and surfing. On her first visit to Australia she dropped into the JOY studio to chat to Katie about the famously musical and activist Sands family, her appearance at the Cygnet Folk Festival and travels in Tasmania, performing at the Glastonbury Festival, working in Palestinian refugee camps, collaboration with other Irish musicians, and more. She performs a couple of songs live, too! Here is the playlist:
Ghost on the Waves – Clare Sands, Aisling Urwin

Awe na Mná (Praise the Women) – Clare Sands
