Apologies.
I’ve given this podcast a good try but, apologies, it’s just not cutting it. Maybe it’s meant for those with a simple baseline, fundamental understanding of the cases and laws behind them, and, if that’s needed, so be it. But not only do the hosts only go over information that we’ve already learned, again, apologies, but the two former prosecutors are really not very good at explaining things. It seems to take them forever to get through their explanations — I’m always two steps ahead of them saying c’mon, c’mon already. And I don’t find that the former politician adds much to the discussions unless she’s directly in her politics wheelhouse, which doesn’t seem to come up much, at least not in a meaningful way. I don’t feel a need to have a “ladies” podcast. I have a need for a podcast with one or two hosts who are savvy, well-informed and articulate. They should break it down just to the two main prosecutors and then get some kind of training or coaching in communicating ideas and events. And one more thing… Often women are very hesitant to express themselves confidently, or simply express themselves. Similarly, these women too have taken on this “I’m not sure of myself” thing. Lose that. It’s a woman’s world too.
