“This young man was being developed by the Tampa organization and suddenly the Guardians gave up two AAA pitchers for him and brought him up to pitch five games without any support from the offense and they all came up as losses even though his numbers weren’t that bad.
He actually struck out Aaron Judge and several other Yankees.
I know this young man personally he is truly all American personality.
You’ll find nothing about him that is flawed.
He has a wife had a baby.
He was up-and-coming, and all the sudden he gets injured with the Guardians and they release him and trade them off to the Mets, which in my opinion the worst development organization there ever was.
They have no idea what to do with the players and they ended up spending millions last year on pitchers and then dumping them off and now take this young man and just dumped him.
I am so upset about this, if he would’ve stayed with the Tampa Bay organization he would have developed into one of their better pitchers.
He’s from a small Oklahoma town called Verdigris.
He and his brother both were All State pitchers that got scholarships to Oklahoma State University, and they both were drafted and got respectable bonuses.
I say shame on the Mets and the Guardians-and the way they treated him.”
