Engaging
As a grandparent, I am interested in hearing the childrearing situations that they discuss. These people are honest and intelligent. I wish Allison would stop dropping her voice into a growling, raspy tone towards the end of so many of her sentences, though. It is an affectation that many young women seem to have adopted in recent times, and it is distracting to listen to, shifting my attention from what she is saying to how she is saying it. Other than that small downside, I enjoy this podcast and will keep listening.

Allison and Dan are wonderful together. Content, interviews, and format are engaging. Finally an honest podcast about parenting! Maybe there's hope for us after all!

Dan (the "dad" of this podcast) really aggravates me most of the time with his attitude toward the world in general and his kids in particular. But I like Allison (the "mom") a lot (they are not parents of the same children by the way) and the topics are usually interesting.Read full review »
