“I’m not a parent (nor currently attempting to become one, or interested in doing so) but a grad student and I started listening to this podcast about a year ago after getting hooked on most all of the others Slate produces, and I have to say it’s fascinating. I’m quite interested in what kind of choices parents have to make, and what kind of skill set they have to build to do what seems, in essence, to be the most difficult, important, and possibly rewarding project of their lives. Dan & Allison are really wry and funny and have a wonderful ability to be both compassionate and analytically rigorous.
I also just have to say: Dan Kois’s voice is the most comforting set of sounds known to mankind. It never fails to make my day.”
