Not for me
I’m a busy mom and I love to keep podcasts on in the background to learn something new every day. I gave this a chance but decided this would not be something I want to spend time listening to. It was hard to follow because there are 3 different voices, stories and perspectives going on at once, and I usually prefer hosts who take a backseat and allow their guests to share their whole coherent thoughts and insights. This was more like listening in on the lunch conversation happening at the next table. In that way, the format definitely wasn’t for me. Moreover, I didn’t derive much from the content — it wasn’t particularly thought-provoking and I definitely gravitate more towards podcasts that challenge me to think deeper and more nuanced about issues, not shying away from opinions that might be controversial or just different. I came away feeling like if I wanted to have a casual conversation, I would rather pick up the phone and have it with my own friends! Other than that, the women seemed authentic, fun and enthusiastic, and you can definitely pick up a few ideas here and there.
