The Secrets to Making a Blended Family Work; with Moving On Method Certified Coach Ashley Presti
Description
After divorce, you may look forward to finding that new partner who gives you what you need. When starting a new relationship, how do you even think of blending your family with the potential family of a new partner? This week, Michelle Dempsey-Multack is joined by Moving On Method Certified Coach Ashley Presti, who is well versed in all things blended families. Ashley shares her incredible knowledge in blending families and the two of them will cover:
Navigating co-parenting with your new partner and their co-parent
Taking things slow and keeping open communication with all children involved
Giving each child special 1:1 time while finding common ground with their potential future step-siblings
AND SO MUCH MORE
Hi, I’m Ashley! I’m a mom to my incredible daughter Emry and a bonus mama to two wildly loving twin boys. Our extended blended family includes bonus siblings and our coparents. Raised in the Midwest in a blended home, I’ve navigated divorce, coparenting, dating as a single mom, and blending three pre-teens (and a dog). These experiences ignited my passion for helping other families find their new chapters.
As a Moms Moving On certified coparenting coach with over 10 years of hands-on experience, my goal is to guide others through the emotional and physical aspects of starting over, dating with kids, and blending families. I’m dedicated to supporting families in creating cohesive, supportive environments by leveraging both my professional and personal experience to build strong, resilient relationships and a united parenting perspective.
Divorce, dating with kids, and coparenting often take us by surprise. I’m here to help you navigate the highs and lows, from rediscovering your new self to blending a family and remarrying. It’s about embracing the second chances you never expected.
