The African American Cultural Heritage Collection (AACHC)The AACHC features an extensive collection of African Americans’ rich history in America. The collection features multiple traveling exhibits of this great history to further our mission of informing audiences of the rich, un-credited and under-acknowledged history of African Americans to world history and culture. The AACHC is a historic collection that celebrates the unmatched strength of African American heritage, history, and culture.
It consists of about 15,000 irreplaceable pieces of American antiquity and counting. Our impressively vast and diverse collection origins begin with an original 15th Century map of Africa and spans all the way to our most contemporary piece which is the very first publishing contract of the late hip-hop legend, Tupac Amaru Shakur, which is signed three times by the artist.
