“The concept is that the narrator has horrible nightmares about serial killing. So he makes a podcast to talk about the serial killers to make the nightmares stop?!?! Plus, the host is whiny about the whole thing. NOBODY has asked for this. The market is saturated with true Crime podcasts.
It’s also desperately trying to comment on the possible psychological issues of a fascination with true crime. Yet, totally misses the mark and comes off heavy handed.”

“I enjoy true crime podcasts, investigative and otherwise. But I cannot abide hearing one more complaint from the host about his extremely curable problem. If true crime keeps you up at night- stop engaging with it. And certainly don’t host a monotone podcast full of complaints.

“When he’s actually telling the story. I get the “insomniac” intro thing but don’t really wanna keep hearing the narrator talking about his own issues with sleeping and personal stuff in the middle of the story. Keep it simple, you’re trying to do too much”
