Meh, for those who already follow Zodiac
Nothing much new here for those who have done some Zodiac research, so that’s lame... as well as a ridiculous amount of embedded advertising. I don’t care about Best Fiends or whatever weird fantasy podcast you want to support- it’s obnoxious to place these ads intermittently among actual content. Word to the wise: follow NPR ad formats and just leave the lame ads at the beginning and end of the podcast, where they are easily skipped. It was unbelievably annoying to be assaulted with these ads even in the middle of the show. I love true crime stuff, but the dumb ad structure here absolutely stopped me from going beyond Zodiac. I followed (sometimes suffering excruciating pain at the hands of advertisers) to the end of Zodiac, only because I was hoping for something new to the Zodiac story. Be forewarned: nothing new. Lots of atrocious ads in the middle of the podcast Not to be followed.

More reviews of Monster: The Zodiac Killer
I can’t recommend this podcast enough. The blend of information and recreation of instances are top notch. It really is one of the best series I have listened to. Scott Benjamin is the perfect voice for the Zodiac. Matt “The Mad Man” Frederick is a master of the podcasting realm.

Good Podcast. I am a true crime junkie and I love this monster series. I have listened to Atlanta Monster as well. Looking forward to the one about the DC Sniper.
