I enjoy listening to true crime and was hoping for something good from this Australian podcast. Unfortunately I was let down. For an author Amanda Howard’s grip on English is questionable, which is irritating to listen to. The main, oft repeated, offence being her use of ‘come’ not ‘comes’. Amanda also frequently implies by her use of ‘we’ that she has been an integral part of all of these investigations. Using ‘they’ would be much more appropriate. I find the banter between the two hosts to be strained and forced, and Amanda’a propensity to sympathise with these killers is interesting, as it seems to show that she is more keen on being their pen pal or friend rather than studying their behaviour. I understand she would need to do this to gain their trust, but the way she speaks of them is a bit gross.

I listen to this podcast during work and I absolutely love it! I love how they use clips from different cases. This pod cast, although it’s a dark subject, keeps me interest the whole time! Please make more forever! Lol
