WaPo needs to get her a better microphone.
And yes, wish she were more conversational in tone like she is in interviews and less over-enunciated scripted. Give me more of the interviews and source audio.

“I’m very interested in this story but so far I am finding the narration to be annoying.
I understand the effect that they are going for but the slow draw of the narrator and the over use of dramatic pauses tell me this isn’t going to be an easy listen.”

“I almost forget it’s non-fiction when listening and not a sci-fi adventure in itself. The blend between the two is intriguing. And I actually love the slow pace and eerie sound design. It may be a bit cheesy at time but it sets up the mood well.”
