The ‘why’
I just re-listened to the first podcast I ever listened to, but also probably my favourite - Moonrise. 13 minutes to the moon is great and all, but it’s very much the ‘how’ of what for humans to the moon. (13 minutes was my second podcast listen lol). Moonrise looks much more at the why, the political and cultural drivers of what got people to the moon. It also has beautiful sound design throughout So if you like podcasts and space history it might be worth a listen 😀

When my Wife told me we had a new podcast about the lunar landing/the space race, I was ecstatic! Then we listened..... and I couldn’t finish the first episode. The host’s long, drawn out word/sentences are painful to listen to. I hope it gets better.

A lot of fluff and not much content. I was hoping for more. The overdone sound effects are a distraction. Doubtful I will come back for more, but I may give it a second chance because it’s an interesting subject matter.
