Captivating
This was the first podcast series that I had the urge to binge like a great TV show. The characters from this fascinating time in world history are brought to life in all their complexity, and the storytelling is very well organized.

Many reviews (after only one episode) criticize this show for the narrator's slow style, but I think speed isn't always operative when it comes to building suspense. I thought I had accidentally hit the speed button and was listening to this on a slower speed. Nope. I was listening to it on normal speed. You can express grandeur without such belabored pacing. I think the information is good but it’s hard to listen to.

Loving the ominous vibe of this podcast. It is a great concept and the first episode sets up the premise well.
